The Trend and Policy Issues of Health Care Industry in Korea

Abstract
In Korea, the past two decades, has concerning to accessability in health services. But, in recently, health services needs more concerning with services quality and high technology. In addition, a health market power has shifted from the health provider to the health services comsumer. It¡¯s trend more increasing to global health marketing which was widen for health care consumer¡¯s choices. So, Korea government has two difficulty policy goal which is a public health service security and health care industry. Because of a korea health care industry has the low level ranking comparing with OECD health care budget and health services industralization. So, the subjective of study is analyze to the trend of korea health services and main issues, which are linking to the health policy. We have suggestion to the three categorizations which are need to the health care policy for the health industralization. Firstly, between the public and private insurance sector¡¯s partnership is necessary part, in now which are not classification of the main functions, for the patients¡¯ payment reducing. Secondly, we argue that it is needed to free contract base system between health services provider and national health agency. The compulsive contracting system has forced by the law, for which was ensured to the accessability, but in recently, the main issues is high quality services needed. Finally, we argue that health care industrialization is key success factor in the health sector competitive advantages which is global health marketing environment.
